MAC/NEA Minigrant Award
Renninger has received a 2016 Mississippi Arts Commission/National Endowment for the Arts Minigrant to help support the making of Botanica: Burka, a new installation piece that will be exhibited at Georgia Southern University in January, 2017.
Joan Mitchell Foundation Center
Renninger will be an artist-in-residence at the Joan Mitchell Foundation Center in New Orleans, Louisiana for one month during the fall of 2016.
Mississippi Museum of Art
In December 2015, Relinquish, a work about the memories, dreams and experiences we leave behind and part of the larger series, Relinquished, was acquired by the Mississippi Museum of Art for the permanent collection.

Island View Casino Resort Beach Tower
The new Island View Beach Tower in Gulfport, Mississippi opened in May 2015. Renninger’s piece, A Day at the Beach, was commissioned for the Hotel’s lobby.

Mississippi Arts Commission
Renninger was awarded a 2016 Minigrant by the Mississippi Arts Commission to assist with the making of a new piece for the Botanica series. This funding is made possible by the Mississippi Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts.

KOHLER Arts/Industry Residency
Renninger completed an Arts/Industry residency in Spring 2014. The new work includes the following pieces—all from Botanica: Roseland, Fruit and Violets, Le Jardin de la Patisserie. All these works were created in Arts/Industry, a long-term residency program of the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, WI. Arts/Industry takes place at Kohler Company.
Potawatomi Hotel
Renninger recently completed a commission for the new Potawatomi Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Hotel opened August 18, 2014.

The Mississippi Institute of Arts and Letters honored Lee Renninger in June with its 2013 Award for Visual Arts. Each year the MIAL honors the artistic achievements of living, creative practitioners with significant ties to the state.
